flags365 turns national pride into a live scoreboard. Every day, midnight to midnight UTC, is its own round. Supporters push a country up the board with a contribution, optionally leaving a public message next to its flag. Whichever country is ahead when the round closes wins that date, permanently.

• Pick a country.
• Choose an amount, or overtake whoever's currently ahead of it.
• Leave a message if you want. It's optional.
• Watch the board move, live, for the rest of the round.

Hi, I'm Kofi Annan. No, not that one. Different Kofi, different Annan, unrelated Nobel Peace Prize count (mine is zero, so far, though the night is young). I built flags365 after losing an argument about which country is the best and deciding the only fair way to settle it, permanently and for all time, was a website.

I have brokered zero international peace treaties. I have, however, successfully talked two grandmothers out of a parking-spot dispute, which I consider comparable. Diplomacy runs in the name. It just didn't come with the resume.
