There are no accounts, no logins, and no email addresses on Flags365. We collect what a contribution needs (an amount and a country) and what you choose to add to it (an optional public message and display name). The board is a public leaderboard by design, so anything you post publicly is, in fact, public.

• Contribution data: the amount, the country, and the round date, plus a timestamp.
• Optional message and display name: up to 80 characters and a display name, if you choose to add them. Marking a message anonymous hides your display name from other visitors; it doesn't hide your amount, and we still keep the display name on file.
• Payment details: handled directly by our payment processor. We don't receive or store your full card number.
• Basic usage analytics: aggregate, cookieless page-view analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand traffic. It doesn't identify you individually.
• Theme preference: stored in your browser's local storage (light/dark mode), never sent to our servers.

Flags365 is a public scoreboard. A confirmed contribution's amount, country, and any message or display name you added (unless anonymous) are shown publicly on the site, including in the permanent archive of closed rounds — see rules. Don't include anything in a message or display name you don't want public and permanent.

• To record and display contributions and the live board.
• To detect and prevent fraud, card testing, and abuse.
• To understand aggregate site traffic and improve the product.

We don't sell your personal data.

Because the board's archive is permanent by design, confirmed contribution and message data is retained indefinitely. A message we hide for violating the rules is hidden from public view, not deleted from our records.

You can contribute without a message or display name, or mark a message anonymous to keep your name off the public display. To ask about data we hold tied to a specific contribution, contact us with the details below.

We may update this policy as the product changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
